A Message from Rick
When I first began working with growers, packers, and storage operators, I saw the same challenge almost everywhere: good people in Ohio and across the US were spending too much time tracking produce with clipboards, spreadsheets, and disconnected systems. Information was scattered, inventory visibility was limited, and traceability often required digging through stacks of paperwork. A customer prompted me to provide a mobile app option. I believed there had to be a better way. Harvest Point was built around a simple idea: provide one practical system that follows the product from the field to storage, through packing, and ultimately to the customer. Every feature has been shaped by conversations with growers, lessons learned in the orchard and packhouse, and a commitment to helping produce operations work smarter, maintain traceability, and grow with confidence. Today, Harvest Point continues to evolve alongside the people who use it every day, delivering solutions designed for the real-world challenges of agriculture.
